JOLIET, Ill. -- The
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns for its second visit to Pocono Raceway in early August, and at least one driver isn't looking forward to it.
And from the sound of it, he hasn't been a fan in a long while.
Greg Biffle sounded off on the safety of the fast, odd three-corner track Friday afternoon while meeting with the media at Chicagoland Speedway.
"It is clear we have come close to hurting people in the past," Biffle said. "If you saw
Dale (Earnhardt) Jr. and
Steve Park upside down going down the guardrail -- they haven't changed the race track there. It's a matter of time. That's all there is to it."
